Our story
The Scieries of Corgnac and Ets Compagnaud Palettes Palox companies are part of the CB Péri Pin group and are located in Négrondes in the Dordogne.
The society The Scieries of Corgnac saws more than 300 m3 of softwood every day, and more particularly maritime pine from Dordogne forests, eco-certified in sustainable management.
The sawn timber is mainly intended for the subsidiary Ets Compagnaud Palettes Palox, and they keep part of it for the planed wood and moldings activity that it has directly.
We dry, process NIMP 15 for export, plan, and machine many of our products. We have 5 drying cells of 50 m3 each, and are in the process of installing 2 other cells of 100 m3 each. This capacity will allow us to treat NIMP 15 or dry more than 2500 m3 of wood per month.
Ets Compagnaud Palettes Palox, specialize in the manufacture of pallets, pallet boxes and pallets.
Located on the same industrial site (90,000 m2 including 15,000 m2 covered) as the Sawmill, they benefit from a sustainable and regular supply. They ensure the supply of a demanding clientele on a national or international scale. (Saint Gobain, LPR, Eternit, PRB, Terreal, but also for palox, Larrère, Loobuick, Parret, Garin, Agrial, UPI, SCA Teulet, EIFEL, Aubineau…)
We employ 65 people at our Négrondes site in Dordogne.
Our sawing and assembly lines are modern and digitalized, and we are continuing to robotize our installations. We have therefore just completed, as you saw in the video, the start-up of a new fully robotic palox manufacturing workshop.
The CB Péri Pin group (Scieries de Corgnac and Ets Compagnaud Palettes Palox) are not unknown in the woodworking sector and benefit from all the approvals for their pallets (Europe EPAL pallets, CP Chimical PAL, VMF Pal. Verrières, LPR PAL rental). In addition, for both companies we hold certifications for our chains of control, NIMP 15 and PEFC.
