Privacy Policy
From May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation changes the so-called “Informatics and Freedoms” Law. This regulation governs the use and security of your personal data and aims to ensure better protection.
This Charter applies to all personal data processed by ETS Compagnaud acting as data controller. It explains how we use this data, who we may share it with and what measures we take to ensure its confidentiality and security.
What data do we collect, and how?
We collect data about you during various exchanges:

This data may concern:
information relating to your identity (or that of your colleagues) such as your name, your first name

How do we use your data?
We will only use your personal data if you have consented to it or this use is based on one of the legal bases provided for by law:

Who are we likely to share them with?
To the extent that they comply with the regulations governing personal data, we may transfer and disclose your data:
- to our suppliers (in the case of a delivery, for example)
- to our various advice providers: accountants, lawyers, etc.
How long do we keep them?
We keep your data for the duration of the contracts that bind us.
Unless you complain, your data is kept for 3 years after your last contact with ETS Compagnaud. We may also keep them even if you decide to no longer use our services, in particular to comply with applicable legislation, to defend our interests or assert our rights. We will not keep them for longer than necessary and, in accordance with applicable law, when we no longer need them, we will securely destroy them in accordance with our internal policy or anonymize them completely. Certain data may be archived for an additional period for the management of complaints and/or litigation as well as to meet our legal or regulatory obligations or to respond to requests from authorized authorities.
Your rights
You have rights over personal data concerning you:
- the right to obtain information about the data we hold about you and the processing carried out
- the right to modify or correct your data
- the right to ask us to delete your data (please note that legal or regulatory provisions or legitimate reasons may require us to retain your data)
- the right to ask us to restrict or object to the processing of your data

What do we expect from you?
You must ensure that the information you provide to us is relevant and up to date. You must also inform us, without delay, of any significant change in your situation.
If you provide us with information about a third party, you must ensure that they have given you permission to do so.
How do we ensure the security of your data?
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
We hold our staff and all third parties working for ETS Compagnaud to strict standards of security and information protection, including contractual obligations to protect all data and apply strict data transfer measures.
